The Seal of Andromalius comes from the Ars Goetia tradition, where Andromalius is named as the 72nd and final spirit. He is described as a Great and Mighty Earl of Hell, ruling thirty-six legions of spirits and appearing in the form of a man holding a great serpent in his hand.

Andromalius is strongly connected with justice, exposure, and recovery. In the Goetic text, his office is to bring back both the thief and the stolen goods, punish thieves and wicked people, reveal dishonest dealings, uncover hidden evil, and discover treasures that have been concealed.

Because of this, the Seal of Andromalius is often interpreted as a symbol of protection against deceit, the return of what was lost, the exposure of betrayal, and the pursuit of truth beneath appearances. The serpent in his image adds another layer of meaning: vigilance, hidden knowledge, danger, and the sharp instinct needed to uncover what others try to bury.

For those drawn to Goetic symbolism, the Seal of Andromalius represents justice, protection, recovery, truth, hidden treasures, and the power to reveal what has been concealed.
