While there is no single universal veve attributed exclusively to Marie Laveau, she was known to use her own unique symbols in ritual practice. These veves were believed to be powerful tools for summoning spirits and channeling their energy.

Traditionally, veves are drawn with cornmeal, flour, or other powders on the ground or altars. Every line and curve carries meaning, making each symbol an active spiritual gateway rather than a simple decoration.
