The Seal of Ose comes from the Ars Goetia tradition, where Ose, also called Oso or Voso, is named as the 57th spirit and a Great President of Hell. He is traditionally described as appearing first in the form of a leopard, then taking human shape at the command of the magician.

Ose is associated with liberal sciences, secret knowledge, and true answers concerning divine and hidden matters. His symbolism is closely tied to revelation: the uncovering of what is concealed, the piercing of illusion, and the search for knowledge beyond ordinary perception.
